The Creative Economy Working Group has been following the petition in the High Court that challenges the constitutionality of sections of the Film and Stage Plays Act for violating freedom of expression including freedom of artistic creativity under Article 33(1) of the Constitution, freedoms of the media under Article 34 of the Constitution, a right of access to information under Article 35 and principles of legality under Article 50(2) (n) of the Constitution that requires that any law which limits a fundamental right and freedom should not to be vague or over broad.
